GTI^® 3D Concrete Geo Mat

GTI GX Concrete Geo-mat (CGM) is a fabric which hardens when hydrated to form a thin, durable, water-proof and fire-retardant layer within 24 hrs. It is a 3- dimensional fabric made by a special needle punched process combined with PE Film lamination. The pile fibers between top and bottom layer extend across the space between lower and upper faces. A proprietary settable concrete material is introduced into the space between the upper and lower faces. It can be caused to set by the addition of water only.

CGM consists of a 3-dimensional fiber matrix containing a specially formulated dry concrete mix. A PVC backing on one surface of the CGM ensures the material is completely water proof. CGM can be hydrated either by spraying or by being fully immersed in water. Once set, the fibers reinforce the concrete, preventing crack propagation and providing a safe plastic failure mode.
