GTI® Rigid Rockfall Barriers
Rigid barriers are structures that act to either contain or deflect rock fall, with the structure being sufficiently stiff to withstand the kinetic energy imparted by the falling rock rigid structures undergo relatively little to no downward deformation when impacted and they can therefore be constructed
Close to the assets they are protecting. There are a variety of barrier types in use today with a wide range of energy capacities depending on their materials and geometry.

Semi Rigid Rockfall Barrier
Semi-rigid rockfall protection barriers are steel structures constituted by a principal interception structure made of cables mounted on structural steel posts fully restrained to the ground.
Traditionally, they are assigned a low capacity value which ranges from few to less than 300 kJ.
It has been extensively employed as a convenient passive countermeasure being cost-effective, versatile, easy to be installed and maintained.
